Grandma Ray's 83rd Birthday

Luke Menard "American Idol"

Michael works out at the Crawfordsville Park and Rec. He was in there one day and Luke Menard came in to work out. He and Michael struck up a conversation. Then today Michael was working out again when Luke walked in. He said Hi to Michael and they worked out together again. Michael was telling him how our family loves to watch American Idol and that our girls voted for him and are big fans. He then told Michael to have Courtney and Camilla come in and he would say Hi to them. So, Michael called me at home and had me load up the kids and come over to meet him. My sister works at the Park and Rec and also went to high school with him. He is seriously the nicest guy ever. He seems very genuine and talked about how he is headed out to LA next week for the Idol Gives Back and to further his career. The girls were so star struck they didn't say a word! It was really cute.

Volleyball Champs!!!!

We won the Volleyball District Tourney today!!! It was really exciting!!

A couple of weeks ago the girls asked Kim if they could have a slumber party if they won the district tourney! So....looks like we will have 11 eleven year old girls spending the night! CRAZY!!!! But, it was really cool to win!

Camilla's Dinner Theater

Camilla was in the Pleasant Hill Dinner Theater on Thursday. She looked like a pro up there. About a month ago she told me that 1st graders were not allowed to be in the Dinner Theater unless they had an older sibling participating. Courtney did not want to do it at all. So the next day she came home and said, "I went up and asked the music teacher if I could be in it anyway!" So the teacher said she would think about it and then she told Camilla she could. I was proud of her for taking the initiative and asking.

Easter

We had our annual Easter egg hunt down at Grandma and Grandpa Ray's, the kids found several eggs filled with candy and coins. Fun stuff.

Volleyball

Kim coached the 5th grade girls volleyball team this year for Pleasant Hill Elementary. The "Cardinals" are 3-1 and looking forward to their tournament this Saturday.

We took the girls ice skating as a reward for having such good marks on thier report cards. We don't like to brag about our kids, but it's so dang easy!

Winter Fun

We finally got enough snow to go sledding (I know don't you just hate us), so we headed to the golf course for some of the best hills in town. Kinsey and Patrick joined us, as well as Patrick's dog Zoie

Dance Off

Last year Mom and Dad were out for a visit, one night we decided to have a dance off. Who knew Dad and Kelly had such sweet moves.

The Laughs on Michael...again!

I dug up an old video file from November 2006...although the videographer was holding the camera sideways...it's still pretty funny! Michael thinks he's going to scare Kelly as she comes out of the bathroom, but Kinsey had a different plan.

The Lizard

One of Kinsey and Pratrick's favorite things to do is to scare Michael. They love getting a rouse out of him. He's a lot like Carl...he's just so darn fun to mess with.

Goofy's Scavenger Hunt Surprise for Camilla

Camilla had a nice surprise from Goofy (Thanks to Kinsey). She had a scavenger hunt set up outside the Resort that led her inside to a birthday cake. Then Michael dared her to stick her face in the cake.
