Today my neighbor, Kirk Allen, and I got most of the vinyl siding done on our addition. I couldn't believe how it tied everything together. We were worried that our new room would look separate from the rest of our house, but I think it flows nicely. Now it's on to the inside where the real work begins....electrical, insulation, drywall etc. I think I'll save that part for my Dad and Sam when they come later this month.

It looks so good! That's alright, go ahead and get some of the work started on the inside. The more you get done, the more we can play. Dad
I think the addition looks awesome!!! I can't believe how fast it's all happening! I think we should all make a bet: How many trips to the local "home improvement" store are you guys going to make during that week when Dad and Sam are there? My guess is 8 trips!!
I am jealous. It looks so good.
I think this is the speediest home improvement job I've ever heard of! It looks absolutely wonderful. So, does Kim get a new paint brush and roller for Mother's Day/Birthday?!!
That addition totally looks like its part of the original house. I love it- sometimes additions are SO obvious. I think it looks great!
Wow Mike...great job. Looks pretty sharp. Do you hire out?
Uncle Phil
Kim-Happy Birthday AND happy Mother's Day!!
We're going to be expecting daily updates on this blog next week!
Have fun with my husband. I miss him tons already and he's only been gone for 9 hours!
All right out there--stop the playing for ten minutes and update this blog!!!
