Monday Night Football
Monday we all got dressed up (Some of us more than others) and went to the Colt's game against the Cincinnati Bangles. It was a great game the Colts won easily, but I have never, and I mean never been to a crazier game in all my life!! We were in the cheap seats at the top, which were still $100 a piece, surrounded by Bangles fans, loud-drunk Bangles fans. At one point I had to trade places with Kim because she literally almost kicked the crap out of this obnoxious chick sitting in front of us. It was hilarious. We had security up at our section four different times for fighting, fans throwing things ect.. I had more fun watching all the intoxicated fans around us more than I did the game. I'm sure they all had designated drivers for the ride home. Right!! I will never bring my girls to a football game ever. I heard the f-bomb enough that night to last a lifetime. I don't think Kim will be attending anymore Colts games in the future, as for me, I'll be back next year.

More Ugly Sweaters!
Here are some more pics of the Christmas Party. My aunt Jean came down from Muncie so we had her come along to the party. She had a sweater, but it wasn't ugly enough. So we hot glued stuff all over the front. And then I thought... a licked candy cane would be perfect right on her shoulder. So, Kinsey had to work that night (She is an optician at the Walmart Optical Lab) so our family all went into Walmart dressed up to see her. This lady came by Jean and said, "Excuse me Ma'am, I just wanted you to know you have a candy cane stuck to your shoulder." It was so funny. The poor lady was embarrassed...which we should've been. Anyway...Which sweater do you think is the ugliest?
Ugly Sweater Christmas Party
Ok... every year a group of us in our ward have an adult Christmas Party. This year the theme was wear your ugliest sweater. Well, of course Michael and I couldn't stop at that. We made a trip to Goodwill and Michael ended up with the whole outfit. Does it look like anyone to you? Anyway "Uncle Eddie" and I with my stirrup pants and dog sweater won the prize for the ugliest sweaters. It was a great time! Of course my sister Kelly had to try on one of the white elephant gifts for everyone! I don't know how we are related! Just kidding Kelly...I love ya!

Gingerbread House!
Having girls in the house they love doing all the baking and fun Christmas stuff. Tonight our Ward had a Nativity Open House for the community (which I should have taken a picture) with a variety of Nativitys on display for people to come look at. After the Open House then people can stay for the Christmas Broadcast. We went early and enjoyed the Open House and then came home and made a "small" gingerbread house and then watched the broadcast from the comforts of home on satallite. It was a good evening.

Extending the Porch
The pictures are out of order, we've been having trouble with our blog lately so deal. On Saturday we decided to extend our back porch to accommodate our new grill as well as the ten or fifteen people that show up every Sunday evening. The picture above is the finished project. It only took me, the two missionaries, and my neighbor ten hours to finish. We used 100 80lb. bags of concrete, mixed by a gas powered mixer. I think next time we'll have it delivered. We were just about done when it started pouring rain. I was not a happy camper to say the least, in fact I'm pretty sure I said a bad word or two in my head. We had to refinish it all over again, then our dog Alex walked through it. Stupid dog, we had to finish it once more. Luckily it turned out pretty good. Was it worth it?.... Ask me in a week or two. Oh by the way don't ever finish concrete bare footed, one of the missionaries stood in the concrete all day without boots, he looked down at his feet and some of the skin was falling off. I felt pretty bad for him, but he did get out of tracting for a day, so it's all good.

Megan's Baptism
On Sunday June 30th at 1:00 pm Megan Taylor was baptized. It was one of the most spiritual baptisms I have been blessed to attend. We are so proud of the steps she made to be baptized. Some of you may not have realized Megan dated Clay for 3 years and remained very close to Clay and our family prior to Clay's death. She amazes me everyday by her commitment to live a christlike life. Thanks to Megan for being our example.
